The situation there is, in fact, a reversal of the order of things-the incompetent govt has enforced an ‘organic’ regime because of their inability to afford to import fertilizer.
They banned fertilisers. I read not long ago that there was also a ban on cattle slaughter. There were some green-left policies involved. In any case, there is also an example of bad or incompetent economic management and there are lessons to be learned universally from this.
