“Space Man”
Sam is a singer and songwriter from Essex who has seen his popularity go stratospheric, largely thanks to social media. The Brit co-wrote his Eurovision entry with Grammy winning songwriter Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud) and Max Wolfgang, and with over 12 million followers and 100 million likes on TikTok, he is currently the most followed UK music artist on the platform. As the world went into lockdown in March 2020, Sam uploaded the first of his now famous cover videos, quickly catching the attention of celebrity fans including Justin Bieber, Sia and Alicia Keys, who even posted her own video reacting to his cover of her song If I Ain’t Got You. Since then he’s been signed by Parlophone Records, released his debut EP (The Sun’s Gonna Rise), and received top-level support from the UK’s biggest radio stations.
