No jokin’…..Mad as Hell returning this year

“It’s going to be very hard for Shaun Micallef to send this up…..”

Mad as Hell is returning for a new season on ABC later this year.

That will make for fascinating fun given the change of government.

Micallef recently despaired that he had “no jokes” with Libs no longer in charge but will doubtless find new material and characters under the Albanese government.

And then there’s also the prospect of Peter Dutton & co.

Time for a new desk doll!

  1. I’m expecting programs such as MAH and Q+A to see a ratings boost over the next twelve months. Labor governments tend to suit these programs well as they attract both Lib and Labor voters as they become more balanced holding a Labor government and opposition to account. More so I’m expecting Q+A numbers to rise once the Albanese honeymoon rubs off.
A Labor government will be good businesses for MAH and co as they hold a government and a opposition to account at the same time. You can bank on it. It will attract more viewers.

  2. I’m sure he and his writing team will be able to make fun of the new gov

There are less “funny” characters with Labor as opposed to the opposition coalition
