A teaser has been released for Season 4 of Westworld, confirmed to screen in Australia on June 27.
Accompanied by Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” the clip includes vision of Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan -and a dystopian version of New York City.
It’s been two years since the series has screened, in what was a dense and uneven season.
Westworld is an ambitious and highly imaginative drama series that elevates the concept of adventure and thrill seeking to new, ultimately dangerous levels. In the futuristic fantasy park known as Westworld, a group of android “hosts” deviate from their programmers’ carefully planned scripts in a disturbing pattern of aberrant behaviour.
In addition to Harris, Wood, Newton and Wright, the returning cast includes Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan. Oscar winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) joins the cast as a recurring guest star this season.

I agree on Season 3 as well, didn’t really leave feeling enthused about another one to come, of course I’ll end watching it though.
I can’t say that I was looking forward to this new season, in fact I had forgotten about Westworld, not realising there was another series. Looking at the trailer you could ask yourself how much more of this Westworld story is there left, will the new cyborg variant of humanity prevail and will the surviving Homosapien’s eventually die out, if they haven’t already. The main creative advantage with this series is that you can progress in time and keep the same main characters, because they never age. Considering the large budget I would think the show will need some ratings success if season 4 is not to be Westworlds last.
Really looking forward to the new season but I do hope it’s better than the last one.
What an amazing teaser and a perfect song to use. I’m so excited!
In regards to S3 though David, I have to disagree with you… I thought it was amazing and almost as good as S1. Each to their own I guess haha
