ABC leads from 7pm, but Nine wins Wednesday.

ABC News, 7:30, Hard Quiz and The Weekly all won their timeslots on Wednesday.

Last night it was ABC shows which led the way from 7pm, but ultimately the night went to Nine.

7:30 won its slot at 565,000 metro viewers then Hard Quiz  (547,000), MasterChef Australia (498,000), Celebrity Apprentice (415,000) and Big Brother (323,000).

Later The Weekly with Charlie Pickering pulled 526,000 then Travel Guides (351,000), You Can’t Ask That (320,000), Five Bedrooms (233,000), Britain’s Got Talent (176,000) and Thatcher & Reagan (167,000),

Nine network won Wednesday with 28.4% then Seven 24.4%, 10 19.3%, ABC 18.8% and SBS 9.1%.

Nine News was best for Nine at 857,000 / 834,000. A Current Affair was 596,000 then Hot Seat (432,000 / 278,000).

Seven News was #1 at 998,000 / 981,000 for Seven. The Chase topped entertainment at 574,000 / 355,000 then Home & Away (490,000).

The Project drew 384,000 / 250,000 for 10. 10 News First was 362,000 / 217,000 with Bull on 116,000.

ABC News won its slot at 662,000. Would I Lie to You? (246,000) and The Drum (205,000) followed.

On SBS it was Tony Robinson: WWII By Drone (172,000), SBS World News (160,000 / 135,000), Mastermind (98,000) and Cobra (53,000).

Bluey led multichannels at 151,000.

News Breakfast: 117,000 / 67,000
