More than 60 broadcast cameras will capture New South Wales v Queensland next Wednesday night.

New South Wales face off against Queensland in State of Origin I Live from Accor Stadium, Sydney next Wednesday night.

Hosted by James Bracey, coverage will feature Andrew Johns, Cameron Smith, Johnathan Thurston, Phil Gould, Darren Lockyer, Paul Vautin and Paul Gallen plus Danika Mason, Allana Ferguson, and in the commentary box: Mathew Thompson, Andrew Johns and Cameron Smith.

In what shapes as the most evenly fought series in recent years, the Queensland Maroons will have the taste of revenge on their lips after being humbled by a star-studded NSW Blues side in 2021.

For the first time ever, Channel 9 will cross live during play to both Origin coaches, Billy Slater and Brad Fittler, for their comments during the heat of battle.

Slater and Fittler will open the doors to Wide World of Sports in both camps, with viewers getting unprecedented access to exclusive content from extra cameras on the team buses, in dressing rooms and private team meetings – vision never seen before in the pre-match build-up.
