Far North filming in NZ

Production is underway northern New Zealand on Far North which is set to screen in Australia on Paramount+.

The  series stars Temuera Morrison (Star Wars, Once Were Warriors) and Robyn Malcolm (Top of the Lake, Outrageous Fortune) as an everyday couple who foil an international crime ring’s largest ever deal in the Pacific.

The six part series was created and is being directed by David White (This Town, Meat).

Filming will take 14 weeks in total, with seven on location in Ahipara, where the actual events took place.

South Pacific Pictures and White Balance Pictures are producing for Sundance Now, Paramount +, Warner Bros. Discovery NZ and All3 Media International.
