When Detective Ariki Davis saves his boss Stephen Tremaine from ending his life on the infamous One Lane Bridge, he inadvertently triggers a chain of events that uncovers long buried secrets and claims the life of one of his closest friends.
Centred around the political hotbed of water rights, which is the key to unlocking a multi million dollar property development, passionate young eco activists go to war with the Queenstown business elite, as the murder case builds to a deadly and disturbing climax.
Episode 1: Consequences
Ariki is finally settling into Queenstown making the most of the extreme landscape and training hard for the legendary Coast to Coast. He’s still burdened by visions of his boss, Stephen, in danger, but events take a sinister turn when it’s another body that turns up murdered on One Lane Bridge. With his activist friends in town fighting a major property development, Ariki’s professionalism is tested as he’s forced to navigate an investigation rife with fierce rivalries, ulterior motives and conflicts of interest, including his own…
