Alone: Frozen, a new spin-off series from survival series Alone will screen on Binge in August.

It wil feature returning survivalists including fan favourites Greg Ovens (Season 3), Woniya Thibeault (Season 6), Callie Russell (Season 7), Mark D’Ambrosio (Season 7), Amós Rodriguez (Season 7) and Michelle Finn (Season 8).

In the new spin-off series, six of Alone’s strongest participants from past seasons return to put their survival skills to the test for a second time. Dropped off on the frigid North Atlantic Coast of Labrador, Canada just as winter is setting in, and battling howling winds, constant rain, and North America’s most fierce cold-weather predators, survivalists will set out to last fifty days in a location with the densest population of Polar Bears in the United States and face extreme conditions worse than any previous season of Alone. With just a few supplies and their previous experiences to learn from, the survivalists who go the distance will win their share of the $500,000 USD cash prize.

In addition, from 5 August fans will also be able to stream another new Alone spin-off series Alone: The Skills Challenge, which focuses on three former participants as they go head-to-head to complete incredible bushcraft builds using only basic tools and the natural resources around them. Their goal: to prove who has the ingenuity, experience and wilderness skills to craft the most unbelievable survival build. From elevated shelters to hand-crafted ovens to watercraft, participants will give their all to amaze former Alone participants who will judge the builds. Just like Alone, challengers will self-document their experience but this time on their home terrain.

Alone is produced for The History® Channel by Leftfield Pictures (an ITV America company). Shawn Witt, Ryan Pender and Dan Bree serve as executive producers for Leftfield Pictures. Zachary G. Behr serves as executive producer for The History® Channel.

Friday 12 August on Binge, with new episodes dropping every Friday.
