Nine dominates with sports week

Big crowds last week for Origin & Wimbledon plus Masterchef and 7News Spotlight.

State of Origin and a Wimbledon final helped Nine to win the week by a big margin, while 10 upsstaged Seven across two nights.

State of Origin tied for the biggest audience of the year at 1.8m metro viewers, and delivered Nine a record breaking Live BVOD audience.

Tennis anti-hero Nick Kyrgios also ensured a huge 787,000 viewers were watching Wimbledon late night -bigger than almost all the entertainment shows for the week.

10’s MasterChef finals gave the network their best night in 12 months, wrapping up another successful season.

Seven News continues to win its slot for Seven, including strong numbers for a 7News Spotlight interview with Anthoyn Albanese.
