The third and final season of horror / fantasy series Locke & Key, from producers Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill, begins on Netflix in August.
The series stars Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, and Jackson Robert Scott.
The Locke family uncovers more magic within Keyhouse, while a new threat — the most dangerous one yet — looms in Matheson with plans of his own for the keys. I’m a massive fan of the graphic novels but this was horribly watered down, consistently miscast (except for the impeccably chosen female Dodge). They got the look and feel of Keyhouse right but it was far too tweeny drama to come near the depth and horror of the source material. I hope they crank everything up 200% to see out the series with some sort of dignity.
