  1. Hey David,
Did channel 9 forget to play this? In Melbourne RBT was on, funnily enough I found it on the 60
Minutes YouTube channel about 9:30 and watched it on there!

  2. What’s the story here? COVID is everywhere and these are paying informed passengers who have made choices. Move onto a real story.

  3. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it “A Current Affair” that was pushing for the cruising industry to reopen? And wasn’t it “A Current Affair” that had a competition to put people on these cruise ships? And wasn’t it “A Current Affair” that had an extended advertisement for a cruising company? And now Nine is showing this. I won’t trivialise the seriousness of the problem, but it seems hypocritical of Nine to call for restarting cruising on their flagship “current affairs” program (if you even call it current affairs) and yet talk about the dark side on another “current affairs” program on the same channel. I think this is a blatant example of double standards from Nine.

    1. I recall many of these types of situations over the course of the pandemic. The media screams for a certain policy or reports incessantly on the woes of a particular group of persons/interests, and then are critical of the outcome if the policy they called for is introduced. Not just on Nine either.
