  1. So it looks like 7 is going back to the old “Sex Sells” strategy to lift the very average ratings from this years series. MA15+ at a minimum I would guess…

  2. Whhyyyyyyyy!!!!

I was constantly put off by the “love” stories this year, then you get strat chat, it’s just not big brother.

Thankfully the UK reviving a “back to basics” format. Think that will be my saviour.

  3. So Big Brother turned into Survivor for this season which by the looks of it will turn into a dating show next season? Will the following year have another turn and go into a cooking format?

Just go back to basic (aka the original format).

  4. I don’t know if I like this for BB – there are so many other love oriented show (Married, Bachelor franchise, New Love Boat, Heartbreak Island, Love Island (with is almost directly a Love-Oriented OldBB). There’s room to be original with the format and premise that doesn’t compete with established competition.

I do enjoy the game-oriented format, but I wish it was edited much more like oldBB (subdued slice of life , almost documentary style)

  5. I’m out this year too, been an avid BB fan since the begininng. Since the pre-recorded seasons of the previous 2 it’s just not the same anymore, hence the decline in ratings for the last season. So if they go back to live shows and evictions and viewers vote again like the UK, then I’m back on board.

  6. Such a shame they only want people who are single. They seem to want to concentrate on romantic relationships or to the extreme orgies. I think that is getting too close to other reality shows like Bachelor, Bacherlorette, Love Island and the like. I also agree that the immunity challenges should not just be physical challenges like Survivor but also mental challenges. It did seem this year as if the producers were being unfair to Reggie in regards to her blindness. With every immunity challenge being physical and being blind put her in a disadvantage. But Reggie did have the last laugh in being popular. Plus we already had similar challenges in the Panic Room. But would like to see more challenges for the whole house that puts them in situations they have to deal with as a house. Like in the past the house divided into 2 groups. These types of challenges being implemented over days or a week in order to gain privileges. Very few of those this year.

  7. I won’t be watching unless they go back to the original format of putting people in a house and watching how they interact with each other without focusing on the strategy and the same challenges over and over again surely it would be cheaper without the challenges
