Neighbours, This is Your Life, Comm Games -all the hits of ratings week.

Soap finale on track to eventually top TV viewing last week. Another week to Seven.

The historic Neighbours finale drew its best numbers for 10 since 2009 with a whopping 873,000 metro viewers.

Once Total TV numbers are in, it will end up topping the week.

Seven scored another ratings week with newcomer This is Your Life pulling an impressive 655,000 metro viewers. Early results for the Commonwealth Games also saw Seven score a huge 47.4% share on Saturday night -more than double its rivals.

Nine led on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Seven won Sunday, Friday & Saturday. ABC bettered 10 on Saturday.

Seven won all cities except Sydney, a victory for Nine.

Seven: Seven News (Sun: 933,000), This is Your Life (655,000), Commonwealth Games (Day 2 night: 537,000) and Home & Away (429,000).

Nine: Nine News (Sun: 850,000), A Current Affair (641,000), 60 Minutes (612,000) and Beauty & the Geek (471,000).

10: Neighbours (Finale: 873,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (664,000), Hunted (Tues: 594,000) and The Cheap Seats (398,000).

ABC: ABC News (590,000), 7:30 (520,000), Back Roads (513,000) and Gruen (511,000).

SBS: Who Do You Think You Are? (258,000), New York: The City That Never Sleeps (136,000), SBS World News (135,000), London’s Super Tunnel (133,000).

  1. I’m surprised at the little numbers 9Go! gets. I love 9*Go!, they put on a variety of shows in rerun. (The Six million Dollar man, Buck Rodgers, The Bionic Woman, That 70s Show etc) And they rest them and don’t play the same series in a loop like the other digital channels.
