UK action-thriller The Lazarus Project has been renewed for a second season.
Stars Paapa Essiedu (Gangs of London, I May Destroy You), Charly Clive (All My Friends Hate Me), Rudi Dharmalingam (Wakefield) and Anjli Mohindra (The Sarah Jane Adventures, Munich: The Edge of War) will all return.
The series from Joe Barton, follows George (Essiedu), an ordinary man leading an ordinary life. Then one morning, he wakes to discover he’s reliving the same events over again. Mystified, he’s introduced to The Lazarus Project, a secret organisation that uses its ability to turn back time to save the world from extinction.
Joe Barton, writer and executive producer and Johnny Capps, executive producer said: “We have bold and ambitious plans for series two which will reunite all our characters in more thrilling and mind bending adventures.”
The series screens in Australia on Stan.
