Jai Courtney narrates Nine pet series

Actor Jai Courtney will narrate an upcoming animal welfare for Nine, For the Love of Pets.

Commissioned last year by Nine and shot in 4K, the 8 part series follow staff, volunteers and animals at at The Animal Welfare League of South Australia Inc, from vets performing life changing surgeries to the team working to re-home more than 4,000 pets per year.

The series is executive produced by Context Media’s Peter Jenetsky and Tim Clucas, alongside series producer Kym Slaby.

“This is a brilliant paring. Jai Courtney relates to the mass demographic but with a solid appeal to the younger demographic which is essential for channels and platforms today,” said Natalie Lawley, MD of distributor Escapade.
