  1. I’ve no doubt they will be lining up in droves to get their 15 minute of fame. It’s questionable if some of these streaming services really make quality or is it quantity just to fill in the gaps. Besides who wants to pay to watch crap like this isn’t there’s enough on FTA.

    1. You would be aware of the scripted titles such as Colin from Accounts and Love Me. TV is never an either / or scenario. Always best not to judge others’ tastes. If there is no audience for it, it wouldn’t be recommissioned.

      1. My point is some of the guys are pretending to be nice and some are described as FBoys in some dictionaries they are describes as lotharios, (which suggests an unscrupulous seducer of women) that does not send a very good message to young people dating or looking for love with that type of behaviour or show scripted or not, as for taste no one should be subjected to tasteless humiliation. (Refer to Gogglebox UK or YouTube with shorts on that show). TV at times is either done well or worst case scenario it’s just done badly.

        1. That’s largely a different point from previous post about streaming commissions. In any case, we have to accept not every show is made for every target audience. There’s a market for reality TV whether we are personally interested or not, I don’t think it’s necessary every time a new one is announced to begin the pile on or to make points already made in previous posts. Readers appreciate hearing why people enjoy shows rather than the opposite as it helps them discover new content.

  2. Don’t we subscribe to streaming services to get away from this crap?

When Stan gave us “Red Flag” instead of scripted content, I cancelled my subscription. Leave the reality TV to the reality TV streaming platforms.

    1. Lol. Just don’t press play. Scroll on to the genres and shows you want.
Although it is a pity streaming doesn’t work like dating apps so we could block shows we have no interest in.
