Oscar Best Actress Michelle Yeoh was crowed 1984 Miss Moomba International, which appears to be a successor to the Queen of the Pacific beauty cont (held from 1967 – 1977).

Her glory was separate to 1984 Moomba King Kevin Bartlett and Queen Kim Kermonde
