Will the Survivor finale bring back studio audience?

Just six episodes remain in 10 reality show.

Back in 2017 Australian Survivor held a Sydney-based finale with a studio audience, bringing together all 24 contestants and host Jonathan LaPaglia.

Following the US model, the final contestants got to see votes at the same time as the audience, surrounded by family.

But by 2021 the show returned to pre-recorded finales on location due to the pandemic.

This year the show has also filmed its finale in Samoa, and while it’s not confirmed if there were multiple endings filmed whispers suggest as much…

From next week the show also moves to two episodes a week with Dog House added to Tuesday nights.
A finale is tipped for March 27 but yet to be confirmed.

  1. I personally prefer the pre-recorded finale and the immediacy of the result, but a live reunion following it would be welcome. If George is too busy to attend even better.

  3. I really want a live finale or at least one filmed that day with a studio audience. I want the final jury votes to be read out and there not to be multiple endings. I want an honest reaction of the winner.

  4. I doubt it but I would like to hope that all Survivor shows go back to a Live Final Vote and Reunion

    It’s not just Aus having ditched the Live Finale. US and Sth African Survivor have adopted an on island vote reveal followed by an on island “Aftershow” to discuss the game for their Post-Covid seasons.

  5. loving this season, they have really taken on board the criticisms from last season and improved. There are less lame ‘twists’, more variety with the challenges, less obvious producer interference, and they have made the pure gameplay, strategy and skill the central focus.
