Johanna – Compostable Kate
A former food tech teacher, Kate Flood was horrified by the amount of food that would go into the bin at the end of each lesson. A long-time compost enthusiast, she decided to share her passion with others on Instagram – and Compostable Kate was born! Now with hundreds of thousands of followers, Kate has made a career educating people the world over about the benefits of composting. Johanna is meeting up with Kate to find out about her favourite method of composting, bokashi, and how everyone – even apartment dwellers – can make composting part of their daily life.

Juliet + Adam – Smart Home Office
This week, Adam and Juliet are teaming up to help a young couple expecting a new baby. Ben and Claire both work from home, but their home office will soon be converted into a nursery for their new bub, which means they no longer have a dedicated workspace. With no room left in the house, Adam and Juliet are turning a portion of the garage into the perfect office. Complete with loads of smart tech ideas and plenty of style, this office is one you’ll look forward to working in every day.

A decade later, Philip’s bringing his award-winning garden back home. At over 7000 square metres in size, it’s almost 20 times bigger than the original and even more impressive. Graham and Charlie are joining forces to give Philip’s masterpiece the grand tour.

Dr Harry – Wines, Vines & Baby Doll Sheep
There’s not much that could beat spending the day at a stunning country winery, sampling the menu and watching the world go by…but a winery with lots of cute sheep wandering about might do it! This week, Dr Harry is meeting Stephanie and Ben, a couple who run a boutique vineyard called ‘The Vintner’s Daughter’ in the heart of Canberra’s cool climate wine region. Recently, the pair started to look for ways to improve the quality of their grapes and make the winery more economical and sustainable. Steph discovered Babydoll sheep – an English breed of sheep that have recently made their way to Australia. Not only are they the best natural lawnmowers, they are tiny enough to fit underneath the grape vines and chomp on the grass there, too. The couple are now the proud owners of a small flock of 30 sheep. Plus they keep emus, goats, chooks, peacocks and dogs too! Dr Harry’s stopping by to meet the menagerie and squeeze in a little wine tasting.

7pm Friday on Seven / 7TWO.
