Sinead O’Connor tribute on SBS

Doco on the late Irish performer and activist to screen on Sunday night.

Following the sad death of Irish performer and activist Sinead O’Connor, SBS will replay Nothing Compares: Sinead O’Connor on Sunday night.

The doco charts Sinead O’Connor’s phenomenal rise to worldwide fame.

This replaces Death In The Tower: King Richard at 8:50pm Sunday on SBS.

  1. Her book Rememberings is also well worth tracking down, heartbreaking and hilarious in equal measure. Such a sad loss, such an amazing talent & person, a true one-off.

  2. I posted about this excellent documentary in TV lounge earlier today. Heartbreaking, even moreso after today’s news. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  3. So very sad. Hope Sinead is finally at peace now.
    Have always loved Sinead’s music, especially her earlier songs.
    That Nothing Compares doco on SBS is excellent -well worth watching.
    Look forward to the Rage tribute though she deserves more than an hour.

    1. Shame that no room could be found for “Special Cases” by Massive Attack featuring Sinead’s vocals, but why on earth no “You Made Me The Thief of Your Heart” from the In The Name Of The Father soundtrack? Or anything more recent for that matter…
