Airdate: State Memorial Service for Barry Humphries

The State Memorial Service for world-renowned entertainer, author, actor and satirist Barry Humphries AC CBE will be broadcast on ABC in mid December.

Live coverage will take place from the Sydney Opera House.

The event drew some headlines this week around the choice of Richard Wilkins as host. He was approved by Humphries’ widow Lizzie Spender.
