The Conners has been renewed for Season 7 which will also be the show’s last.
The final season will reportedly be shorter than past seasons, with media sources saying it will run for just six episodes.
The Conners originally debuted in 2018. It began as a revival of Roseanne, but following Roseanne Barr’s tweets about former Obama administration aide Valerie Jarrett, the revival was cancelled. Not long after, it was announced the show would continue as The Conners without Barr, with her character being killed off in The Conners premiere episode.
The series stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, and Jay R. Ferguson.
ts broadcast in Australia continues to go wanting, with 10 Peach having screened Season 3 in mid 2021.
A 10 spokesperson told TV Tonight in late 2022, “The Conners is not planned to come back anytime soon.”

Nobody wants to show it here.
Obviously if a show manages to run 7 seasons it’s too good for Ch 10. They only want rubbish that no one watches like The Project. The Conners was probably the last international show I watched on 10/Peach. I have been keeping an eye out for it but I guess Ch10 has the first run rights or something as it’s not on local streaming even though it is available on streaming platforms in other countries.
It’s odd that Disney+ doesn’t stream it, they do with other ABC (US) sitcoms and drama currently airing in the US.
“Werner Entertainment, the production company behind ABC’s popular comedy series The Conners, has signed a global licensing deal with Lionsgate’s Worldwide Television Distribution Group and Debmar-Mercury to make past seasons of the sitcom available on streaming and in syndication. .
Under the agreement, Lionsgate’s Worldwide Television Distribution Group will handle global distribution, including SVOD, AVOD, basic cable and FAST rights, while Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury will shepherd domestic syndication for the Roseanne spinoff. The deal covers all five seasons of the series as well as rights to future seasons following ABC’s first window.”
