Good news for Planet America viewers with this week’s episode remaining in an earlier timeslot of 9:05pm on ABC.
With events changing so rapidly in the US election it will remain in the early slot for the forseeable future.
Joe Biden bows out of the 2024 election race and throws his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris. In a special extended edition of Planet America, Chas and John discuss and the impact and what it means for Democrats.
9:05pm Wednesday on ABC.

Glad that Planet America is finally getting some well deserved attention. But then again, a lot has happened in the US Politics over the last fortnight…. Plenty of material for this show.
Chas and John are great presenters of this show.
Last Friday’s night Planet America: Fireside Chat was delayed by 90 mins because of the overblown, way over the top, news channel coverage of the CrowdStrike IT bug (not saying that it didn’t deserve coverage, just not the amount, most of it was just repeats from an hour earlier, ditto of Seven’s coverage of the assassination attempt a week earlier). When PA:FS did go to air it didn’t include various clips, interviews, etc.
Lots of people missed it because the news presenters failed to mention that it had been delayed until 9:30pm.
Watch it on iView…Nope, not there. Watch it on YouTube … Nope, not there as well. I inquired and was told it would go up on the W/E or maybe on Monday. Even John said the same on his twitter A/C.
Now Tuesday it’s still not up. Can’t see why the ABC can’t upload the broadcast version to iView … afraid I was asleep at 4am when it was repeated.
Poor form ABC….
I agree. And it’s not the only show not yet posted. Close of business from last Friday and the states news are missing a few days. Seems strange. I rely on iview so a tad frustrating and seems an easy fix. BTW, last Friday PA still not up!!
CrowdStrike also “killed” Sundays Landline, resulting in the ABC repeating the 30th Anniversary episode instead.
That’s what I was coming here to ask. I don’t watch it live I tape it & watch it back later. Went to watch it back on Saturday & it was all about that stupid IT stuff. Saw it was being repeated later that day & it still wasn’t on. Checked the guide for the next week but no repeats of it but hundreds of repeats of the Wednesday show. So annoying when they do that. I had assumed it mustn’t have been on but now I see that it was.
The broadcast edition of PA:FC is now up on iView, it goes for 30 mins. It went up this morning. There are almost no clips & no interviews.
Oh good thanks.
I would prefer John Baron and his take on the state of America and it politics…than the load of crock Sky News Australia (and some of the questionable guests they interview) have been churning out for weeks.
This show is a very good insight into how the US political system works, especially since it is so different to our own and has far reaching implications for our country too.
The way it is presented is also very partisan, unlike most of the US media coverage.
I think you mean that it’s not partisan.
The so many of the players in the US media have their partisan bias it’s ridiculous (more on the right but there’s a lot of bias on the left too … it’s hard to get a straight answer out of anyone).
Agreed, very left-biased (they just do a good job of seeming partisan), as are most of the guests.
Major US outlets are more bias to the left. Then they’re all bias to the military-industrial complex.
