Sam Rubin honoured in LA awards
US entertainment reporter, who featured on the Today show for some 20 years, is posthumously awarded.

US entertainment reporter, Sam Rubin, who featured on the Today show for some 20 years, has received the 76th Los Angeles Area Emmy Governors Award.
The posthumous award was given to recognise his “legacy of more than three decades of entertainment news reporting for KTLA.”
Rubin also won an Emmy in the entertainment news category, for his KTLA Morning News coverage of the SAG-AFTRA strike last year.
He died in May aged 64 of a heart attack leading to tributes from Richard Wilkins and Charles Croucher, amongst others.
He was previously a winner of the Best Entertainment Reporter award from the Los Angeles Press Club.
