On Saturday NITV screens the National Indigenous Fashion Awards 2024 held in Darwin / Larrakia Country.
The National Indigenous Fashion Awards (NIFA), provide a vibrant and exciting platform to celebrate the innovation, diversity and ethical practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and fashion designers.
This year the NIFAs returns to Larrakia Country where it will recognise and showcase excellence across seven categories including the Traditional Adornment Award, the Fashion Designer Award, the Community Collaboration Award and more.
Saturday, 17 August at 7.30pm on NITV

Fashion is one of the fields in which Indigenous Australians excel in. Just like with music. It’s creative. So I think it’s good to showcase these things to inspire.
Oh I do so miss the RAQ Fashion Awards that used to screen in the 90s. Sure to enjoy this.
