How does it feel to be a Gold Logie nominee for 2024?
It feels like a big warm consensual yet slightly inappropriate hug.
What’s been the highlight of your TV work over the past year?
Having a front row seat to the Undie Run at the Marble Bar races in W.A!
Give us your best campaign lobbying… why should viewers vote for you?
You should vote for me because I was brave enough to say yes to hosting Celebrity Dog School when all the other candidates would have said a Hard No!
If you should be lucky enough to win, where will the award go?
On the shelf I built for Logies in 1994. It’s been empty since 1994.
If not you… then who?
Everyone is beyond worthy of the Gold Logie. I’m a huge fan of the man of the moment, Tony Armstrong. He’s got such a cool vibe on the telly; he’s a star, a fabulous communicator and storyteller.
You can vote for Larry Emdur at the TV Week Logie Awards here.

Larry is the most deserving out of all of the nominees. He’s done more television than all of the other nominees combined in the past 12 months, and is has a much more diverse range of skills having hosted morning tv, news, quiz shows and reality tv.
Larry has been around the longest out of all the Gold nominees so he deserves it the most. His presenting skills are really amazing! The Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter is basically the same so whoever wins that should also get the Gold. Larry come on Down!
