Nine News tops Sunday, The Block leads entertainment.

Nine led primetime viewing from 6 to 10pm last night but it was Seven that claimed the night.

Nine had Sunday wins in News and Reality, but Seven edged ahead to claim the night.

The Block‘s room reveals episode topped entertainment on Sunday at 1.26m.

The Voice also eclipsed the magic million at 1.05m. A Vera repeat, at 7:30pm, was next at 588,000 with Hunted on 469,000.

Later 60 Minutes led with 659,000 then 7News Spotlight (614,000).

Seven News averaged 1.28m with The Latest at 280,000. Crime Investigation Australia: Most Infamous managed 153,000.

Nine News was #1 at 1.31m with a late edition at 323,000 then See No Evil (104,000) while Footy Furnace was 89,000 where it screened.

ABC News pulled 787,000. Antiques Roadshow (251,000), Compass (249,000), Fifteen-Love (179,000) and Unforgotten (105,000) followed.

10 News First was 283,000 for 10 then The Sunday Project (233,000), FBI (186,000) and The Real CSI: Miami (113,000).

On SBS it was SBS World News (229,000 / 153,000), Titanic in Colour (143,000) and The Black Death With Dan Snow (124,000).

  1. I think people have worked out how ridiculous and fake hunted is ..the premise that hunters just knock on a door and ask if they can come in ..and no-one asks who they are? Its just too fake.

  2. How does that work? Nine win all prime timeslots, yet Seven win (and comfortably) the night in total people share.

    I’d suggest regional, given it’s now part of VOZ, but according to MediaSpy’s charts Seven even won metro, total and broadcast. Even Nine News scored a very rare national victory, apparently Sydney was huge (aided by NRL lead-in though).

    So must be one of two factors then: Adelaide and/or Perth markets, though surely east coast skews more. And/or multi-channels (which we can’t see anymore), such as 7Two + 7mate + 7flix + 7Bravo – note AFL spilled onto mate in Adel and Per last night. I’m guessing this then.
