Tuesday was a rollercoaster night for Seven with big audiences for news, drama and competition reality -but there was a big drop from The Voice to Made in Bondi.
The Voice led in entertainment at 1.05m viewers in National TV Audience.
That was ahead of The Block‘s 940,000, then 7:30 (757,000), Back Roads (616,000), and Hunted (484,000).
The Assembly led with 486,000 then The Cheap Seats (462,000), 30 Years of the Footy Show (338,000 in select markets) and Made in Bondi low at 212,000 -notably Outback Truckers on 7mate fared better at 262,000 / 210,000 which added to Seven winning the night overall.
Seven News was #1 at 1.34m then Home & Away (904,000) and The Chase (654,000). First Dates UK was 125,000.
Nine News averaged 1.25m with wins by A Current Affair (1.11m) and Tipping Point (676,000). Adam Hills: Foot First was 173,000 across Sydney & Brisbane.
ABC News drew 835,000. Hard Quiz (384,000), Antiques Roadshow (210,000), The Art Of (161,000) and Anh’s Brush with Fame (112,000) followed.
The Project scored 344,000 for 10 then 10 News First (331,000) and Deal or No Deal (283,000). NCIS was 111,000.
On SBS it was SBS World News (205,000 / 165,000), Great Coastal Railway Journeys (177,000), Insight (144,000), Dateline (111,000) and Mastermind (82,000).

Notwithstanding MIB struggling, sevens decent leads in the first 3 days of the week could see them take the week without AFL which will almost certainly enable a yearly win, as measured by weekly wins, by AFL grand final week.
Forgot nine has the para Olympics commencing this week. That could spoil sevens week….
A rather big drop in ratings for The Assembly, probably due to a combination of the ABC’s decision to drop the full series on iView + Hamish Blake being a weaker interview subject than Sam Neil. Having said that, if The Assembly can continue to win its timeslot (or at the very least, remain a strong second) and stay above 400k, there’s probably still a reasonable chance of a 2nd season being done in 2025.
Made in Bondi would probably be a good show for 7Bravo, but it’s not really main channel material. Mind you, it’s not exactly a program that I’m disappointed to see rate poorly…
Didn’t Outback Opal Hunters screen on Nine (as per the Oztam report)? Not to be confused with Outback Truckers which showed S10E01 on 7mate last night.
My mistake. I had the right numbers but the wrong Outback show, thanks for spotting.
Interesting that the 7:30 episode (a repeat) rated higher than the 8:30pm episode (new season).
Clearly Made in Bondi has not resonated with audiences. These type of ‘cashed up bogun’ shows seem to do well in the UK with several variants but don’t quite find a home in Australia. I get it, the lives of the people presented is a bit distant from most people and are hardly aspirational in nature. The characters seem both bored and boring frankly.
Will it survive in its timeslot?
And Channel 7 was worried about the ratings of Fam Time LOL ……
I’m really curious about the online figures for a show like Made In Bondi. As placing it on a linear schedule just seems idiotic. But then again leaving it on a horrible streaming platform like 7Plus seems even worse.
I’m not it’s target market – but at least it’s not another 5 episodes a week pathetic reality show that is 90 minutes of nothing
BVOD numbers are broken out in the rankings, it is the third column and is 22k.
Horrible? What’s the problem with 7plus?
I think its one of the better ones.
It works ok for me also.
