  1. Virginia Gay tried her darndest last night through her two scenarios on TGYH. Showing how true improv should be performed… But no one was willing to go with her (except Susie in the all in challenge).. Lloyd and Ray weren’t giving her anything… further proving that the actors/theatre performers they have littered throughout this season and last are head and shoulders the best to watch. Even the ensemble are frustratingly afraid to step even a centimetre outside the script.
By the way.. I promise this is the last I’ll comment on my thoughts about how the show is going for fearing becoming a broken record… it’s still appointment viewing for me regardless.

    1. Totally agree, Troy. The best moments are when the players expand their space outside of the set-ups. Virginia, Susie, Rhys Nicholson and Guy Montgomery are marvellous with that whereas the likes of Aaron Chen and Geraldine Hickey tend to turn their scenes into basic Madlibs. Like you, I wish the ensemble cast ‘rolled with it’ more. But still, I eagerly await each Wednesday.
