In their seaon finales, Talking Footy outranked Footy Classified. Nine wins Wednesday.

On Wednesday The Block again topped entertainment at 1.02m in National TV Audience.

That was ahead of My Kitchen Rules (840,000), 7:30 (691,000), Thank God You’re Here on a season high (644,000) and Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction (422,000).

Later Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee led with 488,000 -save for overruns- then Human Error (465,000) and Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers (222,000).

Nine News averaged 1.15m with wins by A Current Affair (1.05m) and Tipping Point (683,000). Footy Classifed was 105,000 with Million Dollar Murders at 113,000 where they screened.

Seven News was #1 at 1.26m with Home & Away at 857,000 then The Chase (615,000). In various slots were Talking Footy (187,000) and Code Blue: One Punch Killer (171,000).

ABC News drew 813,000 then Planet America (433,000). Hard Quiz (401,000), Antiques Roadshow (231,000), and Would I Lie To You? (182,000) followed.

The Project pulled 341,000 for 10 then 10 News First (304,000), Deal or No Deal (288,000) and NCIS (123,000).

On SBS it was a double episode of The Great Killer Smog (186,000), SBS World News (184,000 / 143,000), The Sixth Commandment (98,000) and Mastermind (81,000).

  1. I know the comedians get the credit on TGYH and fair enough, but kudos to the others that play a part in creating the dialogue & storylines and even the young children that are in it are great.

  2. Enjoyed TGYH. Need more new comedians like last night, they were great. Many comedy shows need to take a gamble like this, rather than just recycling the usual personalities time after time.
