Seven News Melbourne a strong chance to take out the week. After a shaky first half (before the Olympics – you’d think the opposite but January during the tennis in the same thinking did see a strong Alicia & Tom campaign by Nine) HSV seem to have been making ground in recent months and in recent weeks winning multiple nights, especially the past week or two, despite Tipping Point still on top. Interesting… As De Ceglie makes double-headers a thing in other east coast markets, will he do the same in Melbourne (Maddern anyone?) Or is the continued ratings battle down south enough to keep beloved and 40 year stalwart of the neteork’s heritage and sports station in Peter Mitchell safe solo? And was Alicia & Tom just a ‘flash in the pan’, with legend Hitchener notably flailing in 2022 and 2023, but presenters aren’t all, takes a team, questions should also be asked of production, direction, reporting, management, presentation, etc.
Top Gear woeful…producers “Hey can you guys do this random story topless?” So dull
