Update: Gogglebox

Tonight's episode has been held over in some states, but screens on Sunday.

Looking for Gogglebox tonight on 10?

It’s been held over for the Football: AFC Asian Qualifiers match between Socceroos V China PR.

But it will screen at the unusual time of 8:10pm Sunday, in select markets, following The Amazing Race finale.

Amended.

  1. Still not available via 10play – I think this article mentioned that it’d be available Thursday night however based on the “Amended” I presume it won’t be uploaded until after Sunday night’s FTA screening?

  2. Agree that it’s very odd to announce this so late. And what kind of silliness is a broadcast time of 8.10pm? That means the usually scheduled repeat starts 20 minutes later. Madness.

  3. Wow, at least one of the program reviews (Michael Theo’s Australian Story) will be almost two weeks old by the time it’s screened on Ten in South East Australia on Sunday night!

Not big on the celebrity episodes myself but if one was going to happen this year, it probably would’ve been announced by now especially as I think next week’s episode will be the last regular Gogglebox for 2024.

  4. Hi David, the holdover for Gogglebox is only for Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart. It will still be shown tonight in Perth at the usual time of 8.30pm, and after the football in Darwin (9pm), Brisbane (9.30pm), and Adelaide (10pm). The same episode will then air nationally on Sunday at 8.10pm.

    1. Not good enough from 10. None of their posts have stated this and it isn’t the first time Gogglebox has been moved due to soccer. Just make it Wednesday like you normally do or if you really have to move it make it Friday night.

And FTA wonder why their product is dying…

      1. Personally, I think they should prioritise gogglebox on main channel while the Soccer moves to 10Bold. I don’t like it when half of the states get new episodes while the other half have to wait until Sunday.

  5. I know that WA viewers get the soccer game on 10Bold due to the 3 hour time zone difference. And tonight will have new episodes of the show.
As I looked on Sunday guide, I noticed that WA viewers will get it at 8:10pm on 10 and on Nickelodeon at 9pm.

    1. The time given for the soccer here on TV Tonight and in the EPG (at least here in Melbourne) is AEDT (UTC+1100) and South Australia is ACDT (UTC+1030). So Western Australia is actually 2.5 hours behind Adelaide (where the match is being played), but in regards to those on Eastern Daylight Savings Time, it is 3 hours.

  6. It’s still in the 10 Play TV guide for 10pm tonight in Adelaide, 9:30pm in Brisbane, and 8:34pm in Perth? It’s only Sydney and Melbourne that are missing out tonight.

Or has there been another late change and it’s not airing anywhere tonight on 10?

  7. Oh, quite unusual. Also, hoping there’ll be another celebrity special announced for at the end of the year…although should definitely be like a normal episode instead of a recap of shows from the year like last time.
