10 looks to be courting older viewers on Monday nights now with a combo of Wheel of Fortune and Matlock with star Kathy Bates.

While there are only a handful of WoF episodes it will be interesting to see how this tracks over the next few weeks and it could become a crowd-pleaser.

  1. Gave Wheel of Fortune a shot as we like Norton. But found it mostly irritatingly repetitive.
Which is the nature of game shows, isn’t it? Won’t be recording the remaining four shows.

  2. There was actually no cricket last night and will need re-coding, it was over by 6:30pm with telecast finishing on 7mate at 7pm, India ran away with it, in a very disappointing result for Australia, CA, Seven and Foxtel once again (including today’s Day 5 also gone). Hence Nine’s runaway win, no Chase also seemed to help their TP, 9News and ACA. Seven’s guides were also obviously incorrect and the filler shows very weak (Force, Motorway, Highway Cops).

  3. With the alarming ratings boost between Sunrise and Today, clearly, it’s time to ultimately put the nail in the coffin. How anyone watches that steaming pile of faecal matter on Nine is beyond me. No wonder Nine is eyeing Seven News talent since not only do they have a profusion of talent from both species, but they all love one another professionally and personally. Excellent work Sunrise.

      1. That is definitely the case Mr Knox, no two days are the same in the fickle world of ratings. The gym I go to has all the televisions set on Channel Nine. I’ve never been a Karl fan due to a plethora of reasons, but Sarah Abo is very hard to watch as she giggles inappropriately, behaves as though she is in a nightclub. I find Sarah Abo from Nine’s Today show and Amber Laidler from the Seven News team two people who lack the smarts of a polished journalist. My $0.02 anyway.
