Here's how Seven's AFL schedule is looking for 2025.

Yesterday at their Upfront event, Seven unveiled their plans for AFL across 7 days of the week during the 2025 football season.
This photo demonstrates 2024 schedule compared to 2025 outlook.
Chris Jones, Director of Network Sport said, “The Agenda Set is on a Monday and Tuesday, a show that’s going to do exactly as the name suggests: set the agenda. The best footy show on telly is back, The Front Bar on a Wednesday night, complemented by Unfiltered, which is a sit down interview show with Hamish McLaughlin. We’ll also have Seven News Podcasts, and they’ll be joined by Kane Cornes on that podcast. Thursday and Friday night footy’s back, there’s great news today with 23 Thursday nights announced with the schedule. Extra Time, a new show post-Thursday and Friday night, where we’ll bring fresh voices in to dissect what we’ve just watched.
“On a Saturday, we’ve got local leagues, and then Sunday is an absolute footy feast starting with The Footy Feast, followed by Sunday Afternoon Footy. We’ll then have another show straight off the back of it, called The Wash Up, and then a digital exclusive at night, which is Kane’s Call, where he’ll have his first call on what’s taken place that weekend.
“So what does it all mean? Footy on seven and 7plus every single day of the week, adding marquee matches on Seven, and we have got three and a half national games a week, plus every single local match.”
(NB: these are correct at time of writing but may change with AFL fixture)

How do you show “half” a game? Am I missing something?
Some weeks 3, some weeks 4 so 3.5 is the average. Sounds dumb I agree.
The Front Bar will be the only one worth watching.
There is way too much footy programs on Channel 7. I feel that there is too much overkill for Seven. Most of the presenters don’t appeal to me, especially the arrivals of Caro Wilson. And don’t get me started on Craig Hutchison. Every time I see him on TV, I turn my TV off.
With 10hrs/day of news plus reality shows, sport and home shopping there’s not much time left for entertainment in 2025. It’s a good job that their new software REDiQ4U can predict audience behaviour up to 28 days in advance with 95% accuracy so who needs ratings?
So channel 7 just throw there hands up at any effort to have a reasonably compelling line up, and just go all into AFL
So it looks I won’t be watching much 7 – Maybe some Chase and 1% but that’s it.
There’s more Kane than actual football
Oh no, have they quietly axed Armchair Experts and Cam Luke & Adam Cooney? Been going since 2018 I think. Thought it was great this year, was live too following the Friday AFL post game.
This is too much! AFL TV shows on Nine, on Seven and for FFS Fox Sports Footy!!
Just too much!
Good to see much for effort being put to AFL by 7.
I don’t think the Tuesday show is needed. Given there is no analysis show Wednesday for the round ahead maybe they will use Tuesday as that.
But I think it’s too soon & that they should swap the Tuesday Agenda & Wednesday Interview.
Any news about more commentators & additions?
