Survivor finale doubles down

Outwit, Outplay, Outlast, Outdo. A four hour finale, split over two weeks, is coming.

The Season 47 finale of Survivor just got bigger.

Instead of one three-hour final episode (including a Reunion) the Season 47 finale will be split into two parts, two hours each, airing over a two-week period.

Part one of the finale will air in the US on December 11 and the second half on December 18.

Survivor began expanding the length of episodes in Season 45 in response to a drop in oandemic-impacted content from 60 to 90 minutes, and has since stayed with that format, with an occasional two-hour episode dropping throughout the season.

Australian dates are likely to be December 12 and 19 but yet to be confirmed.

  1. Wow! I miss the old era Survivor. I miss the Live finale and reunion. I miss the hardcore outstanding unforgettable players. I miss the 2 tribes and 39 days. I miss Jeff saying ‘Come on in guys’….But I love Survivor!
