  1. And for anyone hoping to escape it by flying off to some idyllic Pacific hideaway ABC Australia will carry 11 hours non-stop through local FTA broadcasters across the Pacific and across Asia.

  2. How can you have four different broadcasters claiming they’ll bring the most extensive, the most in-depth, unrivalled and provide an all access pass? Surely they can’t all be the best?

  3. Why bother watching at all…Sky News and Fox News have already decided who won the election…Sky News even had their reporters and presenters individually posting their delight at Trump winning under the thumbnail..”Trump Wins” on their YouTube channel last week.

  4. I’ll just wait to hear the winner.
I know it’s the US but some of this coverage is a tad over the top.

  5. Might as well go straight to the local sources (assuming you have pay TV or access via other means) and I will be following the live coverage on a combination of CNN and MSNBC (and might occasionally check in on what Fox News is saying).

  6. I will be flying to New Zealand so I won’t have to put up with the Election on TV, especially Channel 9’s coverage. Nine’s presenters will spew up a lot of right wing talk.

    1. Don’t you mean SKY news coverage. Couldn’t be more right wing. They are 100% behind Trump.
      Sickening really.

    2. Not sure what you’re talking about, there’s not much difference between Channel 9 Coverage to Channel 7 & 10 Coverage.
Most Importantly they are All better than ABC Communist Left-Wing Bias S#*T..

      1. When I get to Auckland, I will get the TVNZ coverage of the US Presidential Election and also the BBC World and CNN, as well as France24. I am pretty sure that I can get the live streaming of ABC News YouTube channel in NZ.

        1. TVNZ (and all other FTA channels in NZ) are showing regular programming in the TV guide for Wednesday. TVNZ have had major budget cuts, and Three (owned by WBD) axed their news service earlier this year. Al Jazeera is FTA in NZ, and I imagine they’ll have some coverage.

Pay TV customers will get all the news channels covering it of course.

    3. Fantastic, I’ll watch ch9 then, sick of media being left leaning especially in Australia all media skews heavily towards the ALP. 9 it is then. #Trump47

    4. Keep forgetting – the ABC’s Left Bias is OK….
typical left – left are correct, and if you don’t follow the left your wrong.

      1. You are kidding yourself if you think ABC left bias (which actually isn’t that much and sometimes even leans to the right) is worse that the mouthpiece for Trump that is Sky News/Fox News.

        1. ABC News is the only one that’s a joke of a Channel, it’s the Absolute Worst of All Channels in Australia!!

  7. The 2016 election reminded me of this Graham Kennedy movie where he threw a party to celebrate the impending election victory of his and his friend’s preferred political party, then that party lost. Sort of like how people presumed Hilary Clinton would win yet Donald Trump won. What was the name of the Graham Kennedy film, ironically “Don’s Party”.

  8. Oh please 7, stop using the e-word in everything you promote – when it isn’t “exclusive”- claiming “backed by the exclusive resources of global broadcast news affiliates CNN” – while 9 claims “…with our partnership with CNN, Channel 9 has…..”. All of the others have access to CNN if they want to take it. 10, however, would want to save $$$ and stay with CBS and ABC will most likely go with the more laid back PBS.

  9. I Won’t be watching any of the live Broadcasts I am already sick of hearing about the Presidential Election it really is over kill all networks broadcasting it live all day

  10. I know that the election is the best Drama on TV at present, but all day on every main FTA station is a tad bit much, isn’t it??
