A giant Bluey balloon popped during inflation the day before the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Spectators at the inflation event, now attended annually, heard a loud noise from the Bluey balloon, which left a large hole in one of Bluey’s paws.
However parade staff assured them the balloon would be patched and ready to go for the big event.
This is the third year Bluey, which screens on Disney stateside, has been a presence in the iconic parade.

Myf Walhurst was reporting from New York City this morning on ABC radio Brisbane, from the parade, that Bluey did pop a finger but it was quickly repaired. Bluey was the highlight of the parade according to an unbiased Myf. She also reported that Bluey is the most watched program on US television. Well done Australia!
Does Snoopy have an alibi?
