Aaron Chen hailed as a comedian “ready to break out” in USA 2025

US trade entertainment site Deadline has named Aaron Chen as one of its “15 Comedians Ready To Break Out In 2025.”

“….Chen is a comic quickly climbing the ranks of the international scene. Born and raised in Sydney, he began performing at pubs in the city after being named one of the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s “Class Clowns” in 2012, aged 15. He debuted his first solo show in 2017 and has earned the awards for Best Newcomer (2017) and Director’s Choice (2019), as well as a nomination for Best Show (2021), at the same festival, supporting Ronny Chieng in Australia and touring nationally in front of sold-out crowds. Seen on Australia’s No. 1 panel show Have You Been Paying Attention, Chen’s acclaimed 2021 Adult Swim special A Life in Questions was nominated for Best Short Form Comedy Special at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, leading to development deals with Adult Swim/WarnerMedia.
