Auditions have opened for a fourth season of Alone Australia on SBS.
“Are you a survivor, capable and confident that you can subsist alone in the wild, relying solely on your skills, instincts and mental resilience? Is self-reliance a way of life or a passion for you?” a casting notice asks.
“Do you consider yourself well-equipped with survival knowledge and skills? Do you have a passion for storytelling? Does the idea of creating of your own self-shot documentary excite you?
“And most importantly – do you have the experience, stubborn grit or the stamina to sustain yourself for weeks on end, in a harsh environment living on your own, with zero contact from the outside world?”
SBS / ITV Studios Australia are seeking to represent Australia’s population and very interested in applications from people who identify as culturally and linguistically diverse, First Nations, people with disability, LGBTIQ+, women and other lived experiences which are traditionally under-represented on screen.
Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of applying. Other eligibility criteria apply.
A third season is expected in early 2025.
Applications close Sunday March 30 2025.
