While Foxtel may be currently part of active discussions for a potential acquisition, it recently closed a chapter on its long-standing home at Thomas Holt Drive, North Ryde.
Earlier this month staff relocated to Artarmon joining FOX Sports staff at a refurbished building.
On Monday 2 December Sydney-based leaders joined CEO Patrick Delany officially re-opened Artarmon campus at a Town Hal and announced a new name for the Sydney home – Broadcast Way Studios.
Throughout the day leaders toured the campus, Welcome Pack gifts for employees included acai bowl breakfasts and coffee keep cups while senior leaders cooked BBQ lunches on a rooftop terrace.
Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany said, “Being in one place brings us all together for greater connection at our heart of live production, making collaboration easier, and giving us back that valuable time spent commuting across two campuses.”
North Ryde, which opened in 2006, is now available for production hire. FOX Sports opened its Artarmon base in 2013.

They added no new space , no new parking in the building. Just jammed it all in.
It’s interesting that Foxtel is moving house when back in August this year London based Sports Pro reported that; ‘Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation has put its Foxtel pay-TV business in Australia up for sale as it seeks to compete more effectively with global streaming services such as Netflix’.
Now on the old ABC TV Gore Hill site.
… of course Foxtel started in Pyrmont in 1995 before moving to North Ryde, so this is their third home in thirty years …
