2024 hasn’t exactly been a strong year for new local shows on Seven, Nine and 10 but readers are still finding contenders when voting in the TV Tonight Awards.
Drawing votes in the Best New Australian Show (in no particular order) are: Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee, Fake, The Assembly, Boy Swallows Universe, The Jury: Death on the Staircase, Thou Shalt Not Steal, High Country, Plum and Territory.
From Seven, Nine and 10 are Tipping Point Australia, Wheel of Fortune Australia, Human Error, Deal or No Deal and Dream Home.
If you haven’t cast your vote you have until Friday 3 January 2025.

I quite enjoyed the 1% club, once we got the Lee Mack version.
I left the answer blank! I could not think of an Australian show that premiered this year (not a returning series) which I enjoyed enough to vote for.
