Ex Australian Survivor contestant David Genat is competing on Deal or No Deal Island for NBC.
The second season premieres this week hosted by actor Joe Manganiello.
The reimagined series places the game show on an island where contestants must compete in Survivor-like challenges. In S1, the final case was valued at a whopping $14m.
Genat, who hosted Nine series Rush, also competes against former US Survivor winner Parvati Shallow. Seen as a strategic reality player, he competed on Australian Survivor twice (as well as as well as Celebrity Apprentice), winning $500,000 on his second attempt.
Genat is the only non-US participant in a game teasing the biggest prize in the history of television.
Deal or No Deal Island screens in Australia on 10Play.

Ep 1 of s2 on tenplay now. Watching it now.
My first tip for 2025….
Deal or No Deal Island Australia set for network 10 preimere! In late 2025 or 2026
With David’s presence, it would be a good time to try and build local interest. But Ten will have to give it a better airing than on 10 Play.
So excited for David and Parvati, a combo never knew we needed. Are we going to get this season at the same or similar time as US?
Nothing advised.
Same time. But on 10Play.
Excited for this…hopefully this will get an airing on 10 some day too.
They’ll have to show season 1 first.
It’s on 10Play! I’m half way through the season – it’s great!
Yes the story indicates S1 is on 10 Play but nothing advised for S2 yet.
S2 is now streaming on 10play.
Only first episode has aired currently.
