New US mockumentary St. Denis Medical, set to screen on Seven in early February, has been renewed by NBC for a second season.
The series follows the overworked doctors and nurses working at an underfunded and understaffed Oregon hospital.
The cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covery, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Mekki Kauahi, Kahyun Kim and Aussie Josh Lawson.
After only six episodes so far St. Denis Medical earned a Critic’s Choice Award nomination for Best Comedy Series, while David Alan Grier earned a nod for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
It debuts on 7plus on Monday February 3 and expected on Seven the same date.

Sorry didnt find it anything like Modern Family. I find it more like Abbotts Elementary than anything. It could easy last for while with the type of show it is.
A rather sad American comedy that tries to emulate the Modern Family approach by breaking the fourth wall. But it ain’t that amusing. I found two gags in the first two eps to my taste. That’s all. However, good to see Josh Lawson enjoying continued success in the states.
