Mike Amor said, “Karina, I’m not ashamed to say there have been lots of tears in the Amor household. My American wife is from LA and for 10 years of the 18 years that we lived there we called Pacific Palisades and Malibu home. It’s where our son went to school. It’s where we shopped for groceries. So many memories.”

Scorching over 20 thousand acres of land, the Palisades fire is the largest active blaze in LA. It is home to some of the world’s most famous faces, but the wildfires have not discriminated, razing through thousands of homes. https://t.co/5zYfOfFT4D @AshleeMullany #7NEWS pic.twitter.com/SIuXOZS7oX

One Response
Every time I see these reports my heart breaks…regardless of being poor or rich..famous or not these are people just living their lives. The majority of people work hard to build a life and make a house a home..but to lose their lives, loved ones and homes in such a catastrophic way is beyond devastating. It’s a reminder to never take anything for granted because you just never know what can happen at any given time. Firefighters and responders are just the epitome of what a hero is when they put their lives on the line to save others and their homes.
