MAX gets patriotic with Australia Day Live rockin' from Parliament House and the Top 400 Greatest Australian Songs.

MAX will broadcast Australia Day Live tomorrow, an annual national tribute that brings together the Australian of the Year Awards and home grown music talent.
Australia Day Live is held on the lawns of Federation Mall in Canberra, underneath the national flag at the apex of Parliament House. It will include Ian Moss, Bertie Blackman, Bob Evans, Evermore, and more.
Today it will also begin the Top 400 Greatest Australian Songs, a celebration of Aussie music from acts including Midnight Oil, INXS, Powderfinger, Jimmy Barnes and more. It is hosted by Yumi Stynes and Chit Chat with the final 20 songs at 3pm on Australia Day.
Australia Day Live airs Tuesday 26 January at 5.00pm on MAX.
Top 400 Greatest Australian Songs begins Monday 25 January at 9.00am until Tuesday 26 January at 5.00pm on MAX.

I saw this live! Wow I cant believe that it was three years ago! Evermore were the best of the night, Amy Meredith were good too.
Generally speaking no concert rates particularly well – which is why we rarely see them on FTA telly
I hope thier countdown isnt a farcicle joke like their *one hit wonders countdown* which had: Madonna/Justin Timberlake/u2/Coldplay in it. that was Absured!
Australia Day Live has not rated well when it was shown on Channel Ten in the last few years, no wonder it has been picked up by pay-TV.
