EXCLUSIVE: Perennial channel ambassadors Luke and Wyatt have parted company with kid’s channel Nickelodeon.

The loveable duo have hosted 5 years of Camp Orange plus several SlimeFest events, proving their enduring popularity with kids and tweens.

A spokesperson told TV Tonight, “Luke & Wyatt slimed their way into Nickelodeon history forever after five awesome years as our longest-running channel hosts.

“Although the boys have officially grown up and moved on from Nick, they remain friends of the channel and we are incredibly proud to follow their future creative endeavours.”

With their Live hosting skills and comedic flair, they already have an ASTRA Award as Most Outstanding Presenter, beating Rove McManus, Andrew Winter and Sarah Murdoch. Last year they were also hosts of Seven’s X Factor adjunct Fan Factor.

The duo recently told TV Tonight they were busy working on secret digital projects.

“Digital is a really exciting space at the moment, because they are taking really big risks and trying really interesting content,” Luke added.

“I know it sounds like digital is a second space to TV but it’s becoming the first space. From a creative space it’s more exciting to move in because people take more risks. So if it works in that space you can put it on TV.”

Nickelodeon is due to reveal its new host for this year’s SlimeFest tomorrow.
