Congrats to Richard Wilkins, aka “Dickie” on achieving 30 years at Nine.
Wilkins was at MTV when it was broadcast as a programme on Nine, ahead of the game show Key Notes (cough cough!).
But it is his years endurance (or dare we suggest, perseverance?) at Today since 1994 which wins genuine plaudits. All those early mornings, red carpets, movie premieres, celebrities and minders….. It’s at least another decade on Karl & Lisa.
In TV’s volatile landscape of hiring and firing, 30 years with one network is a credit.
He will soon front interview series The A List.
Jeff Goldblum sends his best.

Key Notes was absolutely superb television. Enjoyed it when it was repeated very late night on Nine 5 or so years ago.
I adored Keynotes lol. It’s a shame it didn’t last long on TV.
You’re the one!
