Your guide to all important dates in the US.

It’s that time of the year in the US, when all the big shows are returning.

  1. Apparently the Young Sheldon premier was a one off and the rest of the season dosen’t start until November. I hope when we finally get it it is aired with Big Bang Theory. I don’t think its ever had much of a companion series here in its ten years on air, it’d be a nice change over the confusing double episodes that are out of sinc.

  2. ‘Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency’ Season 2 should definitely be on Netflix as it still streams Season 1. Viewers should note that season 2 of the long awaited ‘The Expanse’ is currently available on Netflix as well, a great companion show for the latest Star Trek release.
Dr Who should be shown on ABC and I cant see ‘MacGyver’ missing out or ‘Supernatural’ this show has plenty of fans in Australia, ‘Vikings’ should also get a release too. If the commercial FTA have no interest in the new season shows listed above the opportunity is there for Stan, if they are serious about increasing their viewership in competition with Netflix.

  3. After 10 dangled the carrot with a promo to start season 15 of NCIS yesterday and took it back I decided screw it today and read a review of what happened in that episode that ten chose not to air including cast changes. I’ll probably do the same with greys cause seven shows no signs of scheduling that.

  4. There are show great shows in there!!! Can’t wait for them to start!!! Totally agree with Elizabeth!!! Tv stations in Australia have definitely dropped the ball with getting these shows to us in a decent time frame. We are constantly behind!

  5. You would think with 7 having four channels they could confirm return dates for their shows eg. GA & HTGAWM. No wonder we are all turning to Netflix and Stan. There is no excuse for delaying shows in this modern age.
I would also like to see TIU return to 10 soon.

We can only cross our fingers and wait in anticipation…
