  1. My left leaning husband has recently switched to the regional sky news brekky show on 10. He’d actually rather watch the likes of Paul Murray and Andrew Bolt than Karl Stephanovic. ?

      1. I agree, Karl looks like he just doesn’t want to be there and no chemistry at all between him and Georgie I don’t think. They need to get some new hosts that are bubbly and look like they are enjoying themselves.

        1. Wasn’t there a rumour when Georgie joined that it was on the condition she only co-host with Karl for a year?
Maybe that is the case and everyone’s just biding their time until that changing of the guard?

  2. Suprising by these numbers as when you look at the two shows, I really think in terms of look/feel and content, today is miles ahead over sunrise. When I watch sunrise it’s very clear it’s Martin Place with the argument of Sydney centric. Wonder if Karl leaving would change its course. That said news breakfast has really grown on me in recent months

    1. I am a Victorian and find despite the backdrop Sunrise and its hosts connects better with its audience, no matter where they are. They use their interstate reporters a lot and cover the whole country well. I do agree with you on news Breakfast, a great alternative.

    2. At 268,000 it is not like everyone ditched Today for Sunrise as that is a normal figure for them. Edwina may have had accreditation but she doesn’t have the credibility or longevity of Richard or Angela & never will.
